Dr. Chandrakant Patil worked selflessely for poor flood victims of Bihar

Dear All,
This campaign is very different from any campaign we have done earlier.
Please think below on following points and then decide.
- A young doctor from Maharastra, age around 25 years, decided to visit Bihar so that he can help flood victims.
-Inspite of some resistence he decided to go to Bihar.
- He worked in Bihar selflessely and won hearts of people with his down to earth personality.
- One fateful day he lost his life leaving many people shocked.
- After Dr Patil's demise there was no immediate relief Instead we heard something totally irrational from Gov.Officials.
- Days back we came to know that our Dy CM gave 10lakh to Dr Patil's family and also spoke to father of Dr Chandrakant Patil.
This is surely a great move. We must appreciate our Dy CM.
Now as a common Bihari what are our responsibilites towards Dr Patil's family.

Are we not aware of the regional divide between Maharastra and Bihar? We showed our anger by attacking/arguing everyone on blogs, comments section of news article, orkut, forwarded the news which supported our point of view.

Is this not a time to act and show our complete support to a family of great son. There was Dr Patil who went against the will of many people, knowing completely that he many have to face some unpleasent situation when people in Bihar would come to know about his origin.
Emotion of Serving the poor people overtook anyother emotions.

Dr Patil as common Maharatrian came to Bihar and lost his life. Common Biharis cannot bring Dr Patil back but they can certainly show their soliderity towards Dr Patil's family. This small gesture will be an attempt from Common Biharis to salute the family of Dr Patil who lost their only son. If we do not act now we will make mockey of ourselves.
We are targetting (atleast) 1 lakh help from "common Biharis" for this cause.
Feel free to share your views.
-Ashok
