Visit to Dhule

I visited Dr. Patil's family at Dhule last Sunday(05/10/08). Sri Umashankar jee and his wife have not yet come out of the tragic death of their son. I had no words to console them...

Umashankar jee wants that Bihar government should make some monuments of Dr. Patil, so that people can remember him forever. I promised him that we'(i.e.Common Bihari") will never forget this great sacrifice of Dr. Patil..In fact we'll celebrate death anniversary (punyathithi) of Dr. Patil every year, who gave a new meaning to sacrifice and service to the needy...

Sri Umashankar jee is working with "Jawahar Cotton Mill, Dhule" as maintenance supervisor. He explained me how he had struggled during his initial days, he use to manage all educational needs of Dr. chandrakant Patil despite of financial problem. He said that

Bhagwan sabko unke bete ke jaisa beta de par itni jaldi unse chhin na le, agar thoda kam achchha bhi rahega to thik hai par saath mein rahe

Bete ki akal mrityu ne dono(Umasahnakr ji aur unki patni) ko tod kar rakh diya hai.....

12th September was birthday of Dr. Chandrakant Patil. He had promised his mother that while returning from Bihar he'll first visit home....itna bolne ke baad unki Maanji ke aasoon tham hin nahi rahe the...I can't explain those expression....

Bhagwan bhi aisa anyay kyon karte hain ?

Just one day before i.e. on Saturday Prakash Jha , Nana Patekar and some of Dr, cahandrakant's friend from Mumbai also visited Dr. Patil's house. Prakash Jha and Nana Patekar donated a cheque of Rs 11 lakh as compensation.

Sri Umasahnakr jee will retire after 5 years. Dr. Patil's sister is studying in B.Sc.(3rd year).

Same day I came back to Gandhinagar, with a promise to visit them in near future. One thing is sure that we can't bring back Dr. Chandrakant Patil but our small effort can bring smile to his parents We have to take care of them as our own parents or relatives...
